The front half of this ring is cut-out with a classic 'Greek Key' pattern, a repeating geometric design motif. The pattern is also known as the 'meander', a name that is believed to originate from the Maeander River in Asia Minor (present-day Turkey), whose naturally twisting path is echoed in the repeating 'L' shape that turns in on itself. Traditionally the design has symbolized infinity and the eternal flow of life.

* Even though this is an adjustable ring, please be aware that sterling silver is not a material that can be bent very many times before it breaks.
